FP2:

Max Verstappen completed the fastest lap time of 1:29.603 on soft tyres in the second Free Practice Session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc behind him. Red Bull and both Aston Martins led the way with the McLarens struggling to break into the top ten. Verstappen was not completely satisfied with his car, complaining that his headrest was not in the correct position.

Traffic issues were a concern on the tight, low-visibility track, with Leclerc and Alonso both having close calls. George Russell was almost half a second off the pace of Verstappen, and Hamilton was struggling with the W14, falling out of the top ten. There were issues with power on Leclerc’s Ferrari, and an incident with a Williams car nearly hitting the cars waiting to practice their race start.
